 Ponencia: Transforming from process focus to Value Chain approach in managing service lifecycle

In order to achieve real alignment with corporate strategy, IT needs to act as a business inside the business. To drive this transformation CIOs will have to move from traditional technology or process focus to a new approach based on providing end-to-end value to the business. This approach is named Value Chain and it will represent a key step in evolution of IT in the following years. Adopting it will enable CIOs and their staff to really focus and improve the final value that their organization will provide to the business.

Marco Bertini,
is the responsible to drive business development and own portfolio definition for HP Software Service for South Europe geography. In the current role he is leading a team of lead solution consultants distributed across several countries with very high professionality and seniority.

Marco has been active in Service Mgmt industry for almost 25 years with strong experiences in several big customers in several European countries.
He has also been appointed in leading roles for EMEA (2 years) and WW (3 years) for strategic portfolio design and evolution.

Marco lives in Rome and bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering with ITIL and COBIT certification.
